Founded in March 2005 by John Dias, Stefanie Coleman-Dias, and their son Alex, Coleman-Dias³ Construction Inc. (CD³ ) has built its business on the bedrock of excellent quality, reliability and customer service and has steadily grown through repeat business and referrals from happy clients.
“It was our dream to be self-employed, to allow us the flexibility and freedom to have a family life that we envisioned, which was not possible with our former careers.” John worked for a large construction company in Winnipeg for 22 years. Stefanie worked in the fashion industry for 10 years after graduating from the University of Manitoba and was a clothing buyer for a large Canadian women’s retail chain.
Early 2005, John, Stefanie and Alex moved from Winnipeg to St. Thomas where Stefanie’s family lives and started CD³. “It was a risk to leave our stable jobs, move to St. Thomas and start a construction business, but it was a researched and calculated risk. We knew with John’s technical skills in construction and attention to detail in his craftsmanship, and my background with business management and design from University and the fashion industry, we had the skill set to successfully build the business.”
In May of 2016, CD³ celebrated it's 11 year anniversary. "It has been an incredible 11 years. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful clients, trade partners and like-minded colleagues who make coming to work a joy. We are looking forward to many more years of building dream renovations!"
